Updated May 21, 2019 12:00:20A trailer has surfaced for Mulan’s third film, Mulan: The Legend Continues, and the film’s first trailer, which premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival, has also been released.
It shows the film in three dimensions, as well as a shot of Mulan in her castle, and a new music video.
The trailer also reveals that Mulan will be voiced by voice actress Mamoru Oshii, who has voiced Mulan since she debuted as the character in 2008’s Mulan Movie.
Oshii is best known for his role as Natsu Dragneel in the 2012 film Mulan, and his voice of Natsu in the 2011 film Mulano, and in Mulan 2: The Return of Naga.
The Mulan series is also being produced by director Shinichiro Watanabe, who worked on the first two films.
Mulan is a live-action fantasy film with a futuristic setting.
It follows the adventures of the three princesses of the kingdom of Tenka, with Mulan the princess of the magical kingdom, who is raised as a human by the prince of Tenkei, the king of Tenkara.
The film is based on a manga by Yoshiki Sakurazaka and illustrated by Yasuyuki Watanuki, who also wrote the manga.
The film is expected to be released in theaters on May 23.
